Brahmin & pure-veg catering
Madi-conscious pure vegetarian cooking with no onion and no garlic, served on banana leaf by cooks who know the order of the leaf — for kalyanam, upanayanam, seemantham and shraddham.
How we work
In a Brahmin sappadu, nothing is placed at random. Salt at the top left, then pickle, then the curries, kootu and poriyal along the top edge, sweet on the left, rice at the centre — and every item served in sequence, not all at once. A caterer who does not know the order will serve good food badly.
Our pure-veg team cooks entirely without onion and garlic, in vessels reserved for vegetarian work, with a separate cooking bay, separate staff and separate serving spoons. We work with madi requirements where the family asks for them: bathed cooks, dhoti-only cooking area, no outside footwear past the line.
We cater the whole calendar of family functions — kalyanam and nichayathartham, upanayanam, seemantham, ayush homam, sashtiabdapoorthi, grahapravesam, and shraddham meals where the menu and the timing are fixed by the ritual, not by preference.

Case study
Upanayanam · 350 guests · Chennai
The family wanted a full madi setup for their son's upanayanam, but the apartment community hall had a shared kitchen already booked by another function that morning.
We built a temporary cooking bay in the car park with our own gas, vessels and water drums, marked a footwear line, and ran the entire cooking with bathed cooks in dhotis. Nothing prepared outside the bay entered the leaf.
Outcome — The homam meal was served at the exact time the vadhyar called for it, and the family booked us again for the grandmother's sashtiabdapoorthi the following year.
Service areas
We cater at kalyana mandapams, sabha halls, apartment community halls, temple precincts and homes. Where madi is required we set up an independent cooking bay so nothing shares vessels, surfaces or staff with other work.
