Case study
A 5 a.m. muhurtham on a road that was dug up
Ambattur mandapam · 600 guests
Two days before a muhurtham, the approach road to the mandapam was opened up for drainage work and the lorry route disappeared. Anyone based across the city would have lost the morning.
Because our base is minutes away, we moved vessels and provisions in small vehicles the previous evening, staged them inside the hall overnight with a watchman, and started cooking at 3 a.m. as planned.
Outcome — Tiffin was served at 5:15 a.m. and the sappadu at 11:30, on time. The family did not learn about the road until after the muhurtham.
